Use the ScribeALL with any of the following marking implements:
Instructions For Hand Measuring Tools, ScribeALL Hand Measuring and Marking Tool, by RTA Tools Inc
Pencil Pen Grease Pencil Scribe X-acto Knife

The ScribeALL can be used to quickly and accurately measure offsets from both corners and edges as shown on the left.

The patented ScribeALL design that allows both of these tasks to be completed easily is based around the Toe and Heel of the ScribeALL, as shown on the right.

See video on how to read the scales on the ScribeALL.
To Measure An Offset From An Inside Corner
  • Set your required offset distance on the outside of the sliding pencil carriage.
  • The distance from the toe of the ScribeALL to the tip of your pencil will now correspond to your offset distance.
  • Mark your offset by using the toe of the ScribeALL to follow the inside of the corner you are working from.
  • Click here to see a video on how to use the ScribeALL on an inside corner.
To Measure An Offset From An Outside Edge
  • Set your required offset distance on the inside of the sliding pencil carriage.
  • The distance from the heel of the ScribeALL to the tip of your pencil will now correspond to your offset distance.
  • Mark your offset by using the heel of the ScribeALL to follow the outside of the edge you are working from.
  • Click here to see a video on how to use the ScribeALL for an outside edge.

For measuring offsets from the outside edge of tight curves, the heel of the ScribeALL is notched so that the heel can fit into the tightest curve and allow you to mark an accurate offset.
